https://kpd.ejournal.unri.ac.id/index.php/kpd/article/view/402

This study aims to determine the effect of multicultural learning based on religious values on bullying behavior of students in elementary schools. The method used is quantitative with a true experimental design with a pretest-posttest control group model. The subjects of the study were third-grade students of Purwodadi 2 Public Elementary School who were divided into experimental and control groups. Data collection was carried out through tests, observations, interviews, and documentation. The results of the analysis using the independent sample t-test showed a significance value of 0.004 (p < 0.05), which indicates a significant difference between the experimental and control groups. Multicultural learning that integrates religious values such as tolerance, compassion, and mutual respect has been proven to be able to reduce bullying behavior significantly. These findings indicate that a learning approach based on religious values not only impacts cognitive aspects but is also effective in shaping the character of students who are tolerant and moral. Thus, this strategy can be used as an alternative in creating a safe, inclusive school environment and supporting holistic character development.
Lailatul Fitriyah, Muhlasin Amrullah, Vanda Rezania

https://kpd.ejournal.unri.ac.id/index.php/kpd/article/view/450

Mathematics is frequently perceived as an abstract discipline, disconnected from everyday life, thus necessitating the implementation of contextual learning approaches. Ethnomathematics is one such approach that connects mathematical concepts with local culture. This study aims to explore the ethnomathematical values found in bamboo weaving crafts in Sukabumi Regency and their relevance to geometry learning in schools. This study employed a qualitative approach through ethnographic methods. Data were collected through literature studies, observation, in-depth interviews, and documentation involving traditional bamboo weaving artisans. The sample was selected using purposive sampling, focusing on artisans who are actively involved and understand the traditional weaving process. The data were analyzed using thematic analysis to identify geometric patterns found in the woven motifs. The findings reveal the presence of various geometric forms such as cuboids, triangles, squares, and symmetrical patterns within the bamboo weaving crafts. These findings indicate that traditional crafts can serve as contextual learning media that strengthen students' understanding of geometric concepts while also instilling local cultural values. The implications of this study suggest that the exploration of ethnomathematics in bamboo weaving crafts can serve as a foundation for developing contextual and culturally based geometry learning materials and modules. Furthermore, integrating local culture into learning is believed to enhance student engagement and enrich more meaningful learning experiences.

Asti Fuji Astuti, Rinaldi Yusup

The Clean Saturday Program is a weekly routine activity involving the entire school community in maintaining environmental cleanliness, with the hope of fostering an environmentally conscious attitude among students. This study employs a quantitative approach using a correlational survey method. The study population consists of 190 students, with a sample of 66 students selected using proportional random sampling. The research instrument was a questionnaire that was tested on 30 non-sample respondent, to ensure its validity and reliability. After being declared valid, the questionnaire was distributed to the main sample. The results of the data analysis showed a significant influence between the implementation of the Clean Saturday Program and the formation of students' environmental awareness. This is evidenced by the results of the simple linear regression test, which yielded a significance value less than 0.05 and a coefficient of determination value indicating the program's contribution to students' character. It can be concluded that the Clean Saturday Program has a positive influence on the formation of students' environmental awareness character. Therefore, this program should be continued and developed to be more effective and have a broader impact
Rizqi Fajar Adi Putra, Zaka Hadikusuma Ramadan

https://kpd.ejournal.unri.ac.id/index.php/kpd/article/view/477

One of the key literacy abilities that must be acquired starting in elementary school is reading comprehension. However, a problem at Islamic Elementary School is the children's poor reading habits and lack of enthusiasm. The purpose of this study is to ascertain how students' reading comprehension abilities relate to their hobbies and reading habits at the same time. Thirty-fourth and fifth-grade children at MI Mirqotul Ulum Probolinggo participated in the study, which used a quantitative approach with a correlational method and purposive sampling. SPSS version 25 was used to evaluate the instruments, which took the form of reading comprehension exams and surveys. The findings demonstrated that the data were normally distributed and that the instruments were both valid and dependable. Reading habits and interests were significantly correlated with reading comprehension skills, according to multiple regression tests (correlation coefficient 0.882 and significance 0.000). These results underline the importance of an interesting and long-lasting literacy program and support constructivism theory and other studies. It is advised that future research incorporate a larger range of respondents and take into account additional external factors like the involvement of parents and the learning environment, as this study is constrained in terms of sample size and geography
Zaenol Fajri, Ryan Nuraini
